Help for Hens
We're working to help chicken carers find and access useful information for both daily care and common health issues. We are also supporting animal sanctuaries in the South West with hen health, including flock health assessments by poultry veterinarian, Chicken Clinic, support on re-homing days and rehabilitation at the microsanctuary in special cases.
Like all animals, chickens have specific care needs, however as they are considered as "exotics" it can be difficult to find the right support and learn about these needs.
We provide sanctuaries with:
